Google assistant came to my lenovo k8 plus when I updated Google app few weeks ago.I am using it since then and I found this app very useful.To launch Google assistant just hold home button and you have done, Google assistant window will popup asking you How can I help or you can say ok Google.I use many functions of google assistant using voice command like set alarm, set a reminder, a Google voice search, navigate home etc.The best part of Google assistant is fast calculations for example you don't need to type in calculator just ask google assistant what is 25% of 178 and it will directly show you answer.The one thing which I miss is copying text from images is gone when Google assistant came in android marshmallow, earlier when you hold home button there was a option to copy text from images.Now you hold home button and google assistant is launched.
