Ahh....Gold Spot ! My all time fav. drink !!
More than its taste, what I associate with it are my childhood days spent in Bombay. Going to school, gulping down GS at the canteen after the PT period...it used to be really good !
They stared this ''Jungle Book'' collection thing. Every GS crown had a cartoon character from Jungle Book in it. U had to collect these and stick them in an album (also provided by GS) for which u got some prizes (???...) I do remember diligently collecting and sticking those in my album. If I got a few extras, I would exchange these with other pals for a new cartoon characters.
Anywayz...does the drink still exist ??. Mirinda is the closest to it now.
If it does, I surely would go out and buy one, if not for its taste, at least for the memories it would bring back :-))
