Let me first clarify that, I have traveled by 'Go Air' just once....but as it is said 'First impression is last impression !!' I am going to avoid Go Air in future;I'll tell you why... (this is considering Go Air is low-cost airline)
I traveled by Go Air from Goa to Mumbai. I booked the tickets online and it was very easy & straightforward process. When I reached Goa airport, there was ground-staff to of Go Air to guide. After reaching airport I found that flight is late by an hour. Considering, it takes just an hour to fly from Goa to Mumbai; that wasn't very pleasant news. After some time it was announced that flight is late by another half-an-hour. Finally, we headed to check-in counters. Check-in was smooth, ground staff at check-in counter was cooperative.
After entering plane I found that it was too congested. Though it was an hours journey, it was difficult due to very cramped and uncomfortable seats.(Nowadays, luxury buses have comfortable and better seats...). Also, I think plane was not cleaned (might be because it was already late).I found a wrapper of Kurkure below my seat :) Overall experience inside the plane was not good and we waited for landing. Being low-cost airline, nothing including drinking water was free. Sandwiches were available for snacks, but were poor quality and expensive.
In short, go for 'GO' when there is no other option.
