Terrible Service. Review on Glenindia

I had the worst service experience with Glen India Pvt Ltd. I purchased a chimney from them in 2020, which came with a 5-year motor warranty. In September 2023, I raised a complaint about the motor not working properly. However, the company initially refused to honor the warranty, citing "non-registration" as the reason, even though this was never informed at the time of purchase.

After months of back-and-forth and persistent efforts, they finally agreed to replace the motor. But to my shock, the service center demanded ₹1, 200 for replacing the motor and service charges, despite the motor being under warranty! Earlier, they had also replaced the blower and charged me ₹1, 500 for that, which I had already paid. Even after all these payments and supposed repairs, the motor still doesn’t work properly.

This has been a nightmare experience. The lack of professionalism, poor customer support, and their attempt to extract money even for warranty-covered parts make Glen India Pvt Ltd a company I would never recommend to anyone. If you’re considering buying their products, think twice – their after-sales service is simply terrible.
