I have read this book before.but there the wonderful "Preface" of Yeats was not present, without which the book was like a "Beautiful gift from someone but which would be better with a gift-wrap".

Being a Bengali I have gone through some parts of the Original Gitanjali, which soothes the ear if versed & touches the soul if read,

Gitanjali is one of the greatest creations, the translation is not perfect but somewhat close to the original masterpiece,
