Gitanjali is a collection of poems by the Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore. The original Bengali collection of 157 poems was published on August 14, 1910.The Gitanjali or `song offerings' by Rabindranath Tagore(1861-1941), Nobel prize for literature 1913, with an introduction by William B.Gitanjali – Profound spiritual poems of Rabindranath Tagore written after a period of great turmoil, during which he lost much of his family.
