If someone ask me, what are those things that you would like to keep with you in your tough days? One of the very few things that come in the list, and Gitanjali would certainly top the list. This book is about life, spirituality, philosophy and of course heart touching poetry. A classic in itself, Gijanjali would be remembered for ever. I feel myself fortunate to have read the book composed by the greatest poet and philosopher of all times Rabindranath Tagore. Every time I read the book, I discover something new in it. I tend to realise the basic things of life. It opens the flood gate of great felling and supplies food for thought. This book is a wonderful collection of 157 poems composed by the greatest philosopher and poet of all times. It reflects the deep philosophy and homogenous belief towards spirituality, culture of all times. It is a must read. Read it slow, read it time and again. One would certainly discover the wealth of emotion it generates. A must read for all age group.
