I hired a driver from Get Your Driver to drive me from Bangalore to Tamil Nadu. Off the bat, I observe him tail gating vehicles way too close & I tell him that he has to maintain a minimum 20 feet gap in-case the vehicles before us breaks suddenly. As bad luck would have it, at a signal a truck brakes suddenly & my driver rams into it. The headlamp case is now scraped( costs Rs. 3500 to replace) & the bonnet is dinged( still don''t know how much it''d cost to fix this).
On top of it, the driver still doesn''t stop tail-gating after this & shouts at the truck guy for braking suddenly. When shown the damage, he looks at it & says "it it so"( because of that incident) rather than being apologetic. To top it all off, he asks me to cancel my trip with the company so that he can pocket the entire amount! Absolute waste of money & lesson learnt.
