Excellent service. Review on Geojit Financial Services

Its just been about two weeks since I opened an account with Geojit but I feel compelled to write a review because of their excellent service.

The first time I walked into their office, I was a newbie and had no idea about the markets or related. The staff immediately briefed me on the markets inspite of working on something else (usually everyone makes u wait!!!). When I told the staff that I havnt got a PAN card, they immediately offered to do the needful and I was able to apply for a PAN card the very next day. Well, this may be common everywhere but they did take real interest in a newbie (myself).

Once I got my PAN card, I went to their office with all the necessary documents mentioned in their website. Though their website mentions 600 rupees for an online trading account, I was charged only 425 bucks. Now, how many brokerage firms give u that? My account was activated within a week and I was mailed a secure PDF file. The same day, a lady rang me and gave me the password to the PDF.

Immediately, I'm all up and running. Though it takes a little getting used to their trading interface, once you get used to it, its heaven. All cash transfers are instantaneous, except pay-out which will get credited the next day to ur a/c. They also charge the lowest brokerage i've ever know. 0.03 vs 0.3. and 0.03 for futures. I'm gonna upgrade my account to their software platform (costs 4K but refunded if brokerage > 10K for the year). Will update once its done.
