Booked a Genie cab for drop at Railway station on 19th Apr 2014. They confirmed and sent an SMS that cab details will be sent 20 minutes in advance. The said SMS did not arrive and 10 minutes before the scheduled time someone called saying the cab is at a distance of 8 kms and will arrive.
But the cab did not turn up and after multiple calls they said that they had some problem and another cab will come. The 'another' cab did not come in the next 15 minutes, and I was worried that we will miss the train and went out to catch an auto rickshaw. Meanwhile, the driver called that he will be there in another 10 minutes. Finally he arrived.
Looks like they don't have enough vehicles in the fleet and try to schedule pickups too close and mess it up. The service is cheaper but if they don't arrive on time and cannot tell if they will come or not despite a confirmed booking, please be cautious with this cab service in Hyderabad.
