I have recently bought a new Unicorn bike(Run 300+ kms). I am a first timer of bike and so I have a lot of queries. The most important question I have is regarding the petrol. I want my machine to get used to a single brand of high quality fuel throughout its life time. A BP petrol pump is situated very close by my house and they have two variants for bikes - Normal unleaded petrol and Speed. When I enquiered about these with my friends, I am getting confusing answers. Most of them are not aware of the difference, some of them say Speed is the best fuel to use as it will do anti-knocking of engine, mileage will improve etc. But a few of them are asking me to stick to normal unleaded petrol itself as they foresee some unknown problems to engine. So I thought to shoot out this question to MS - so that I can get good advice on this from the experts/long term bikers.
