Helmet Compulsion

I am driving motorcycles for 25 Years. In these 25 yrs I Had three accidents, but none of the time head even touched the ground. I find Helmet cumbersome to wear as well as carry. Mounting it on motorcycle is also problematic. In monsoon the whole inside lining gets soaked. You can not get a proper side view. Also your own motorcycle sound is muffled by helmet. Normally when I am driving at high speed, M/c. sound makes me aware of it and I dont have to see speedometer. With Helmet, since the sound is muffled I move fast oblivious of speed. Add to this loss of side vision due to helmet and the stage is all set for an accident.

The best strategy in case of accidental fall is let go of yourself and dont make any special effort to stop or retard your fall either by hand or foot. This way you will save your limbs and escape with minor injuries.
