Hello friends ,
Today i am gonna share my personal experience about preparation for banking sector jobs.
What are the posts we can apply for?
Generally their are 2 types of posts
1) Bank PO ( Probationary officer/ Assistant Manager)
2) Bank Clerk / Assistant
There are two exams we need to clear
1 Preliminary ( 1 hour)
2 Mains. ( 2 to 3 hours)
Their are 3 sections for Pre exmas
a) Apptitude
b) Resoning
c) English
Current affaires / Gk and Computer are added for MAINS exams.
How to study?
First Start from Basic. Join some institute but do not fully depend on it. Institute will guide you to the path of success. You need to walk alone to reach your goal. Regular Practice is the only thing which will help you.
For current affaires and English section start reading news paper daily. It will not only help you in buliding english vocabulary but also helps you to stay uptadated about current affaires.
For mains exams prepare for atleast last 3 months. (3 months is sufficient)
$ First focus on ACCURACY in apptitude and reasoning do not worry about timing. Practise daily. After some time when you realise you have 90% to 100 % accuracy then go for TIME MANAGEMENT
For this steps give some online tests. Their are lot of banking applications.
$ Online tests helps you to know about time required for each sections.
$ Give specific timing for each sections. My timing plan is
Apptitude 25 minutes
Reasoning. 23 minutes
English. 12 minutes
This will depends upon your strenths and weakness.
$ Start with your strongest section . it will boost your moral .
$ ( Practise daily all the sections ). Do not focus on single section .
Most IMPORTANT BELIEVE IN YOURSELF .
Have CONFIDENCE . This will surely help you in getting some extra marks .
