Thinking of buying an IFB top loading washing machine? This is my 6th year(2008 May, AW 60-806), have already changed the 'board' twice and the 3rd time advised now! Incidentally the board costs ?4000/- and I'm wondering what to do now. Utterly disappointed with the build quality of a product touted as world-class!?
I would not think of buying IFB washing machine again, was never happy with it just because of the troubles it had been giving since I bought it. No complaints about wash quality . And our use at home was not very light, . Customer care is below par, slow.
Probably, the "good" thing about it is the option of annual maintenance contract which costs ?1500 each year. So if you're prepared to shell out the said cost every year and not worried about the ruggedness of the product, you may consider it.
