If you have a knowledge on particular domain or technology then site is good for you making money. But main negative thing is that if you are new then it is very difficult to you take first project. First of all no body will trust on you. Others negative things is that many peoples posted their project . Suppose you bid on that project and after getting it and successfully delivery it. They will refuse to vive money. That time they will try to show your dispute.
Although there exit some good people and many people making money from that site.
Now tips : for starting freelancer first of all you need to sign up here . After that you need to link your bank account with PayPal. And customer will pay you in your PayPal account. Any time you can transfer your money from paypal to your own bank account.
For each project once done freelancer will keep small percentage of money from that project.
From my experience I am sharing some knowledge. 8 months gone. Each and every day I am biding for project but till now I didn't get any project.
Although that concept is really good . But due to some fake people it's losing it's impression.
