The Compact Sedan/Hatchback segment is getting more and more close to 100 bhp powered diesel engines. This is really a good sign for the diesel enthusiast.
First it was only the Amaze(98 bhp, and just 11 sec for 0-100), now the Jazz & Aspire. Not forget the Polo, Zest, Punto 90 & i20(Swift, with matching acceleration even with lower power than its competition)
I am sure, Aspire with its light weight, will be as good as the Amaze when it comes to acceleration. Good days keep rolling for those who are looking to buy a semi hot diesel CS/Hatch.
Hope the safety features of these cars will also be strengthened(with ABS, EBD & Airbags as standard).
