Flipkart screwed me up.

Bought a laptop. It was faulty and a refurbished piece. Headphone jack was not working, had dirt marks on it upon opening the new packaging etc. Requested return from flipkart. They said I will receive a call by next day 12:22 PM. No call in 24 hours. I called again, they said will call you again in 24 hours.


I had to cancel a short trip because of them since this laptop return was imp for me. And upon asking why they are not initiating a return or calling for the same, they had nothing to say except giving me new time and dates.


This is yet another frustrating experience from them. A faulty product has to be returned and an answer is required. They can't keep me in limbo since I need this product to be used for work and they are delaying it not caring about customer's time and efforts.


So, just to make everyone beware that if you are investing on electronics items like laptop, they can be old, refurbished items or else it the product happens to be defective, flipkart can make you wait without proper answers. So far I am not sure about the status of my return request.


Flipkart has no right to delay return of a product which is faulty and supposedly refurbished. Have to part ways from flipkart since this practice is unprofessional and highly frustrating.
