Amongst the major e-commerce players Flipkart is one of the name which everybody knows and Im sure everyone has some good and bad experience. It is evident that online shopping has become very good because of few big players like flipkart. As we know flipkart started with books and now they sell almost everything we can think of. Here are my experience about Flipkart
The good
Good e-commerce site with great detailing of products and their specs. Which helps in deciding the purchase.
Site structure is very good, easy to find the products
Good delivery practice
Did not find any issue with genuineness of products
Has good replacement policy(mostly one month replacement policy) but not that great like its competitors.
Very competitive pricing
The not so good
During offer/discounted sales the delivery time is too long
Missmatch in actual delivery and information update in the order tracking page
Delivery people are not provided with STD enabled phone, due to which they cannot call you if you have given any roaming number. Also, alternate number is not always provided to the delivery person.
Sometimes casual attitude during delivery, in one of my order the item was given to my neighbour without asking me.
Overall experience is good. But Still feel it is behind Amazone in many ways.
