Stumbled upon this category accidentally and was tempted right away to pen down my favorites. The motivation behind it - my sweet jaw; which constantly yearns for

luscious chocolates. Yum, the thought itself is enticing! For a chocoholic like me it's difficult to shortlist just five especially since now I also retail my own handcrafted chocolates (The Chocolate Studio), but here are the honors :)

(In no particular order)

  1. Hershey's kisses: Well I tried them for the first time in 2000 while shopping in Dubai and have been hooked ever since - they come in various flavors but have the same cute little shape. What also attracted me to them was idea behind them- they are a dream come true for every person in love - for every Hershey’s kisses denotes a real kiss ;)

  2. Unusual Date chocolates: Again a result of serendipity, no particular brand - I remember vaguely; a local manufacturer of Dubai dishes out this delicacy. An almond is encased in date and further enrobed in pure chocolate - makes for an awesome experience.

  3. My own handcrafted chocolates (talk about modesty :) - for the simple reason that they are custom made, come in lots of flavors of your choice, are fresh & prepared with love.

  4. Toblerone (Milk chocolate & Honey): I'm a big fan of milk chocolate (ate loads of Nestle' Milky Bar in school during classes :) .But what I truly adore about this one is the subtle crunch, a hint of honey & the rich texture. FYI milk chocolate cannot be correctly called chocolate as it has no cocoa solids.

  5. Cadbury Fruit n Nut+ Cadbury Five Star: I could not choose between the two so mentioned both. the former is a lovely blend of chocolate with roasted nuts, which appeals a lot to my taste buds , simply put it's a rich experience. Cadbury Five- star

is truly a melt in the mouth delight! The chewy- gooey caramel leaves me asking for more :)

Before I sign off, let me spill the beans :)
