I was too much excited before the release of the movie, as I was continuously seeings and hearing about this kapil sharmas movie in various tv show and adds .this movie is based in the year 1921, the story is set in two villages of punjab, the names of of which I don't remember, wierd sounding name. In the movie kapil sharma as a man who has a special power, who can treat persons backache just by one kick on the back . he wanted to be a policeman and he impresses the british by his power.
SCRIPT ANALYSIS
this movie is directed by Rajiv dhingra, firangy is not so nicely executed films. acting of various actors in the movie is not so heart touching and also the production is not so good .FIRANGI is a 2 and a half hour movie which I really didnt expected from such an awesome comedian KAPIL SHARMA.
ACTING
kapil sharma was not expected to act in such a manner in the movie, he is better doing in his tv show THE KAPIL SHARMA SHOW.I laughed aloud with him for so many years I really got impressed by the humour of this man but his acting was not so good in the movie.
Ishita dutta was a little better as compared to kapil sharma.But she did not had show much to do in the movie apart from some dialogues .Rajesh sharma, too cannot do so well by his acting in this movie.
DIRECTION
The director of this movie rajiev dhingra, who directed the first few episodes of the kap[il sharma show, has taken the budget and the film way too seriously.It seem he thought to make a comedy film but somewhere on the way he lost his way and made a boring mashup of everything.
MUSIC
music by jatinder singh, too is a yawnfest. Not a single song which could be remembered does nothing but adds more minutes to the movie.
Firangi is an experiment went misrably wrong for kapil sharma . He tries to be what hes not -i was known that what axctors do, but thats not what comedians do.
movie was average at all apart from some boring scenes but finally it can be concluded that I was expecting a lot from kapil sharma and his upcoming movie.
