It's been a while since I've written a review and I'd promised myself I'd write one on Fanaa, no matter how the film was.

I wish I hadn't! I'll have to relive that longggggggg boooooooring experience again for a few minutes now!!

Ok here goes.....

Somehow the promos of the film didn't seem too exciting in the first place, and the film has lived up to my 'no expectations' expectation from it.

OK! To be honest, the film starts well. The Delhi monuments, the chemistry between the lead actors, the blind girl's blush and the guide who doesn't tire of wooing her....you know....the Yashraj Films kinda candy floss! And the story seems to be going somewhere till the interval. But post interval, it's just another story (pun intended!). The film just goes downhill after a while and basically, it's just too *yawnn* predictable.

About the lead actors, Kajol is good as usual. Aamir Khan is starting to look old, and it's a little weird seeing him do the 'around the trees and over the hills' routine.

Heard someone say this on a TV interview I think...when a film is made around just one basic thought or point, it just shouldn't go beyond 2 or 2.5 hours. So true!
