Soaps have always been cleansers, it is used to remove dirt and the sheer act of taking a bath with water and the fragrance of the soap makes u feel fresh for a limited time.
Fairglow soaps promise of removing blemishes and giving fairness is difficult to digest because the soap stays for maximum of 2 to 3 minutes on the skin/body while taking a bath.Skin Creams do stay for a longer period on the skin surface but ....... creams claiming such a promise of fairness have not delivered even after usage of creams for yrs.
As per dermatology no foreign substance can penetrate the skin surface to provide such kind of benefits , what the creams do is make you feel good by providing smoothness, removing dryness, giving the right amount of moisturising and fragrance on a superficial level
Hence we need to create laws to ensure that tall claims and promises are avoided by manufacturers.
