Yes, I agree that there are many cases and victims in the facebook which LinkedIn had managed to escape. The negative side of the facebook is only 5% of the total advantages that it has.
If an individual sees this as just a social platform and tires to put their personal life on the social platforms then that might bring problems. On the other hand, if one learns and sees Facebook as a huge customer database then there are more chances for even an individual to sell their skills or selective products.
On the other hand, linkedin just being only the job search platform it again limits the freedom that one wishes to have in one's life.
