The first time I visited this place, I was a bit hesitant looking at the age old elevator that takes you up to the 'garden restaurant'. But all my inhibitions took a back seat when I entered this place buzzing with decent crowd & ofcourse, rabbits and swans!!! We were a bunch of non-veggies, so we prefered chicken and fish courses. We had ordered Fresh Lime, Beer, Pahadi Kabab, King fish tandoor & Chiken Tikka for starters. Cheese Naan (yum) & Chiken Kadai, Nawabi Chiken & Shahi Biryani.
The food was delicious. Service was prompt & good enough (as in the platter was presentable enuf besides served perfectly). The ambience was average. The concept of 'garden restaurant' is good but the poor canals look too tired to even build up a live atmosphere around. So, thereafter I have always preffered to dine at the AC area of the restaurant.
All in all, a good place to chill out in the city, that too on a few feet above the bustling Naupada Rd.
