I have travelled on Emirates quiet a lot. Its a great airline if you compare to Air India but not the best when it comes to comparing its in-flight service to other popular airlines such as Singapore and Malaysian. Matter of fact, the best airline I have travelled on was Singapore Airlines.
Emirates have got some great entertainment gadgets inside but what is poor is their in-flight service to the passengers especially on the Indian sector. I have felt there was a biased behaviour. It is a lot better when travelling to UK sector. However, food, TV programmes and the interior is great. You will not know time passing on the short flight to Bombay or even the 7hr flight to London seems short after you watch a couple of thrillers and have a couple of beers.
Overall I would say my experiences with EK were good but not exhilarating. Definitely not the best airline as they think but can get there with some soul-searching.
