I had bid once on bazee.com, never to repeat the mistake again. I was bidding just for the sake of an experience. By the end of the bidding process I saw that it was getting nowhere and gave up when someone (probably the seller) was always outbidding me.
After a couple of days I get a mail from Bazee, giving a long discourse on keeping promises and not going back on a bid and the works.
In order to safeguard my honour I replied giving the facts of what had actually appened and even offered to to buy the cell phone, though I had lost out on my last bid.
The next day the smart guy from bazee writes a one liner email, saying that the previous mail from him was a mistake, without even letting a sign of apology appear in the mail.
I was too shaken up with this assault on my self-respect to demand an apology, and never bothered to communicate to them again. It was a sad experience, never to be repeated on any auction site ever.
