Ebay buyer protection scam. Review on Ebay

I placed an order for an acer aspire one (item #260392213657) on 16-Apr-2009 to prarthita biswas (ebay shop prarthitab). He had advertised it was a new piece. I was delivered an used piece.The warranty card had his name and the purchase date as 15-jan-2009. The piece was so dirty and the battery did not even lost for 20 minutes during the first month. He had clearly purchased this for his personal use, used this for 3 months and sold it as a new piece. Only after this i found that his shop did not have any laptops. Prarthita biswas is a cheat. I had filed for a dispute and then claimed for buyer protection.

Obviously an used laptop is significantly different than the new laptop. Ebay refused to refund under the pretext that i was delivered a laptop. Beware of ebay buyer protection. It is a scam and their decision is final and most cases, you would get nothing if the seller cheats you.
