I was a regular user of Meru Cabs and this May 2010 for my parents to go to Railway station I opted for EASY CABS - because of the meru cab unavailability(Meru told that they will try their best).I booked the EASY cab on 9th May 10.00 am for 7.00 pm pick up.The customer service agent took my request and told that CAB will reach their on time and details will be messaged to me 30 min prior to pick up.
After that I got the confirmation from Meru but I cancelled the service from Meru because I had already made a booking in this EASY cabs.20 minutes before the pick up time I got a message from EASY cabs saying that "due to the unavailability of cabs in the locality they cant provide the service and the request is cancelled".. I got frustrated like anything.Is this how a customer should be treated?Somehow I managed to reach the railway station with my parents on time with some other means.
They informed the cancellation just 20 min prior to pick up - they don't understand the customer need and importance.I recommend not to go for EASY cabs - opt for Meru or Bangalore City cabs. At least they are highly reliable and you will not miss you flight or Train.
