I recently signed up with Earthlink's Cable Access, and I was very surprised at the amazing speed that cable provides! Being used to dial-up and AOL, Earthlink was a breath of fresh air. I connect to websites in seconds! What I find to be really neat is downloading. I wanted to download a very large file when I was with AOL's Dial-Up and it would have taken five hours to fully download. So, I decided to pass up the file. When I tried to download it with my new cable modem, it took fifteen minutes! I was incredibly impressed. Although cable does cost quite a bit more than dial-up, I feel that it is worth it, because you get so much more out of your internet. As for Earthlink in general, they provide you with unlimited cable access, as well as unlimited dial-up access! This is very cool for my sister and me because now we can be on the computer at the same time (one of us with cable, the other with dial-up) with no problem! I highly recommend Earthlink and cable to everyone!
