Very disappointed with the service provided by DTDC. I have used this service many times before but used it to send rakhis for the first time and I understood that they do not handle festival season rush at all. Of the 4 rakhi's I had sent 2 reached correctly while 1 did not even reach after 3 days now. One has reached in 48+hrs while it should have reached within 24 hours.
When I contacted the location where I sent the rakhi from they asked for the address to where the package was being sent. Why in the world would they need the destination address if I provide them the consignment # already!!!! Seems like they don't have a way to match the CN# to the actual package!!
And when questioned about their service the lady very casually said "this is very common, because of rakhi season we have had lot of such mis-placements etc.". She said it so casually taking no responsibility what so ever of the company she works for. While sending the rakhi they made a promise it would reach within 48hrs. Had they not made that promise I would have chosen another courier service.
All false promises. So disappointed that I sent my rakhi through them :-(. CN # of my shipment is H20856915.
When I track online 99% of the time I was getting "ErrorĀ there is a system error. Our administrator is looking into it. Please visit later." making the tracking of shipment useless. It is a pure luck that you can track your shipment!!
