A consignment was booked from Pune to Bangalore on Saturday 14th July, 2012, to my resident address. The consignment number was E70508394. It was told there in Pune that the consignment would be delivered on Monday, 16th July. Nevertheless I hoped to receive it on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, after repeated calls from me the DTDC customer care of Bangalore told me that the consignment has left office and is out for delivery. After waiting for the entire afternoon I still didn't received the consignment and thought it would be delivered it to me next day. But at 8 PM I received a call from a person stating that the courier addressed to me was delivered to his apartment and that I should come and take it. His apartment was some 4 kms away which I had to go in heavy rain to collect my important courier. This was a very pathetic delivery system from DTDC despite mentioning of complete address.
If only I didn't received the call then that courier was lost from me. Would then DTDC compensate me. Its the worst form of customer service!!
