DOVE IS NOT SOAP!. Review on Dove Soap

I was only use soap to was my face. A friend suggested I try DOVE.

DOVE may look like it is soap because in a package that looks like ones that soaps come in. When you open the box you can see it is not square but oval.

After using DOVE for a few weeks I found my face was not as dry. That's because Dove has 1/4% of 1/4 moisturizing lotion in the formula.

It Is Now Available In:

You can select from White, Pink and Unscented. (these were the original types and I used Unscented then).

Their newest Bars are for Sensitive Skin and Nourishing . I tried both and settled on Nourishing.

DOVE suggests you use the White, Pink and Unscented if you have Normal skin oily skin, Combination Skin or you have Acne.

Dermatologist and Pediatrician recommend you use the Sensitive Skin Bar if you have sensitive skin and suffer from Diabetes, Eczema or Psoriasis. It is also safe for young Children, (not babies), to use.

DOVE Nutrium was made for people you are no longer young. It replenishes essential nutrients that are naturally found in skin and nourishes and gives you skin a healthy glow.

HOW I WASH MY FACE

I run the water until it is medium hot then I wet my hands and rub some DOVE on my palms. I gently rub the DOVE all over my face, (being careful around the areas around my eyes. I rinse the DOVE off with the medium warm water and then I finish by splashing on some cold water. I pat my face dry, (I don' rub it with a towel).

WOW WHAT A GREAT BATH I CAN NOW HAVE

After a few months I decided to try Dove to bath and shower with. My skin felt silky and smooth so when I buy Dove I buy at least two bars at a time.

INGREDIENTS, (from the box)

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, sodium Tallowate, Water, sodium Isethonate, Coconut Acid, Sodium Stearate, Cocamidopropyl Bethane, Sodium Cocoate or sodium Palm Kernelate, sodium Chloride, Titanium Dioxide, Sweet Almond Oil, Rosewood Oil, Tetrasodium EDTA, Trisodium Etidronate, BHT, Cedarwood Oil and Rose Oil. It may also contain Disodium Cocamido Mea Suflosuccinate, Cetyl alcohol, and Tocopheryl Acetate.

THE COMPANY

DOVE also makes a Body Wash, Face Care and Anti-Perspirants. All of the products are available in the United States in Drug Stores and Grocery Stores.

SOME THOUGHTS

It only took a week of using DOVE to show a difference to my skin. I have used DOVE in every type of climate and it never changes how it helps me.

When you get to the 'skin type' I wanted to choose 'old' but they did not have that on the selection list!

It believe it costs 130 R, $1.50USD and on sale I buy a bar for $2.25CAD
