I went to see this movie because ayesha takia was looking quite preety and I have liked her since I saw her in socha naa tha. the amazing cinematography was another attraction ,also while nagesh mOVIES may be hit or flop movie , but he hasnt as yet made a Bad movie.
In the begning , the slow pace of the movie gets at you and you pray that NK and manoj night shymlan please get you act together and bring a pace to your story telling. But you slowly realise that NK is NK and not RGV , so one should enjoy his movie like he wishes to show it, and to enjoy the amazing cinematography this is the pace required.
About the story, a totally diffrent story , though the central theme is wether a girl is willing to pardon her husbands murderer, the story is about living and human relationships.
A few cliches broken
how does a married woman react to a declaration of love ,does it make her akward?, does it call for a long lecture on ethics??, no because only when you make it mean something else does it call for all these things ,else it can be acknowledged with a simple thank you.
withouth preaching on social evils and false pride, the plight of a woman is highlighted how a widow is a very useful thing to her inlaws....she serves as a punching bag, she can be a source of income, and inspite of all the hate you feel towards her you will not throw her out ,because she can serve as your maid
the third cliche broken was my own mentality, because I sat thinking ,which of the three male shown in the movie will give the widow happiness ,but NG tells you simply that happiness can be found in other better ways
IN case you are thinking its a boring movie, believe me its got more comic moments that any of the declared comic hits of this year
