We(group of 12 people) visited this beach in Jan 2016. The beach is bit far from town and you won't have access to any hotel if you are going to have your stay close to the beach. There are lodge available near the beach and I personally suggest to book close by lodges. There are lodges which claim to be near to the beach but they are 4-5 kms away from the beach. So better be sure before hand. We had our food at the local restaurant and food was really good. It was typical maharashtrian food.
