Discovery channel had always been a destination for my quest of information, by far it was best information channel that I saw. But sadly, this is not the case now.
Entertainment value on this channel has decreased drastically. Previously there were shows like million isto one, wings etc. Those were great shows. Sadly, this is not the case now. Now, they do not have any deapth in their shows and boring. There is nothing special/extra ordinary about this channel now
Variety of shows is the main thing of downlfall of this channel. There are majorly two catagories of shows now on this channel. One is wildlife( only man vs wild), second is Food. Both completly failed to provide any variety to the viewers.
Anchors and host? Are there any except of the Bare grylls? He is the only man on discovery channel. A part from them, there is no other anchor or host that I even remember.
If you want to watch great shows, then simply change your channel.
