Its a good bank for people living in Metro cities . But not for those who are from small town/cities.
When I started with this app it does not showing me any option for verification through my hometown or maybe they dont issur card at that location or both.
Luckily I live in Gurgaon and able to do both verification and receive Debit Card.
Verification
I received a phone call after 2-3 of account opening and KYC request. They ask me for my preferred appointment date and time.
The verification guy come to my place and it hardly takes few second for fingerprint scan and sharing a reference no. And just after that my account was active.
Digibank App
Come to the actual thing. The app. Digibank app does not offer the user experience you expect.
It always slow on Login page. Once after entering a single character on passwords it start loading, it show loading wheel 2-3 then it let me continue with other characters.
Also, when I check for the amount. It sometime irresponsive or sometime does not display data as well.
It has RD/FD opening & display option. But no option of premature closure. In case you need to contact the bank.
Interest Rate & Banking Experience
It offers upto 7% interest on saving. For FD/RD it offers upto 7.5% when you deposit for 5 years.
The one thing I like most is Quarterly deposit. You can open a quarter based RD which means deposit once in every 3rd months. Which in comparison to regular RD has a better rates.
Debit Card
Or I say ATM card. It allow you to do unlimited transactions at any ATM without any charge. It has international facility too but when I tried with aliexpress it does not works. Even after enabling the international. I ?? it only offer international cash withdrawal.
Anyway, the card looks stylish has air swipe and is powered by VISA.
