DHFL provides loan for various purposes like Housing, personal and many other.
As one of my friend was planning to buy a house in Mumbai for which he tried to get a loan from some nationalized banks. However due to some income proof issues he wasn't able to get so.
Someone recommended him DHFL and after contacting the agent and doing all the inquiry he got he confirmation for loan approval. So initially he was not told about any hidden charges as and when the loan amount got disbursed a large sum of money was deducted from the amount as loan service charge and processing fees and documentation fees.
Above and beyond that he was also forced to buy some insurance products without which they refused to disburse the loan amount as my friend was in midway fo the housing deal transaction he had no other option than buyiong the useless insurance product.
After some years they went on increasing the Interest rates so high that my friend had to transfer the loan to some other bank.
