Dhamek Stupa built as a symbol indicates that Great Buddha's starts the delivery of Dharma, preaches of life fulfillment and religious values to his disciples and friends to distribute and spread the sermon to people all over the world , so the mankind would be in peace.
The stupa was in deer park built before
500 CE located in Sarnath.
After the enlightenment of Buddha under the Bodhi tree in Bodh gaya he came to Sarnath and started his preaching in the deer park which was a pleasant place.
The Stupa was 43 mtr. in height fully made of several bricks and stones with carved human, animals and bird forms with other brick shrines and sitting platforms for yoga and meditaion practices. Later it was developed and modified with grdening in the gaps looks entirely mind blowing place I have never seen in my Life.
