It allows you to save bookmarks AND use them from any location. Wonder why nobody thought of it before.
You can also see what sites are gaining popularity - you always see only the films and read books that your friends watch first, so why not for websites too!
It allows you to discover hot new sites before your friends - just watch for the tags that most interest you. Impress your friends with your knowledge of the WWWeb and leave them envying the amounts of leisure time they think you have to do all that browsing.
Jokes apart, a very useful site because they let you find the most relevant articles on a topic as vetted by other users rather than by a search engine. I find it better than Google WHEN they have anything. To check out my bookmarks, see https://del.icio.us/hnautiyal
It takes a while to get used to the interface, but it is well worth the learning curve.
