Darjeeling was one of the very good hill stations in india before . I always used to go there. but now the hill station is not good. people go there to see the view of kanchenjunga but I recommend my friends instead of going to darjeeling u can go to pelling where u can c a better view of kanchenjunga. darjeeling is becuming a very dirty place. there is no good hotel now. accomodation is very costly and I dont think its worth also. though going to darjeeling is very easy. u can take a car from silliguri and its a four hours journey but I feel sikkim is a better place den darjeeling. darjeeling is becoming very overcrowded and from safety point of view also its not good. so at present I dont recommend darjeeling for my friends.
