I went to a trip to darjeeling in my summer holidays 2 years before.We went to delhi first and then to Bagdogra airport as it was the closest airport to darjeeling.After a 3 hour ride, reached my hotel .
The first thing I did in darjeeling was to go to the sunrise hill to watch the sunrise.It was beautiful.
Living in rajasthan, I had never seen such a beautiful sunrise .
Then our next destinations were a bunch of monasteries including the pagoda.They were nive looking and sites budhist preachings.
When it came to adventure, I missed para gliding.
But I left it as I was too afraid to jump from the top of the hill.I saw others doing it and they seemed to enjoy it.
We bought the world famous darjeeling tea.I recommend going to golden tulips tea store.You can buy elegant looking tea pots too at a minimal price.
Darjeeling is a must visit place for people who want to have a mix of heritage and adventure at their destination
