Matt was not a blind by birth but due to a accident in his childhood in which some chemical truck collided and the chemical which was transported in it leaked and went into matt's eye making him blind.but hightening his other senses
His father was a boxer who used to take beatings for money .once he was told to lose a match but he won and the person who hired him to lose found matts dad and killed him
This made matt to go against crime
