Dalhousie is not worth visiting. I visited it in October 2021. The road from pathankot to Dalhousie is in a very bad condition. Also the road is very lonely and not safe to travel at night at all. In Dalhousie, there is nothing much to see, no Mall road. Just one Subhash chowk and other Gandhi chowk which have a few very basic shops and hotels. The road that connects these 2 chowks is lonely and not even properly maintained. It is nowhere near shimla, mussoorie which have huge footfall.moreover it is very far from delhi.also, there is risk of wild bear after sunset so don't dare to go to any secluded place after sunset. No development, no tourists. The cab drivers also charge very high prices for going somewhere. there is one khajjiar which is around 25 km from there who is just a huge ground with some beauty and a small lake in the center. I feel I wasted my money by going there. I would call Dalhousie a ghost town.
