I purchased the Videocon D2H satellite DVD for Rs 2690 in Dec 2009.
I had initially tried to get a set-top box of Videocon D2H but none of their dealers in Bangalore had stock of this product at that time. So finally after visiting more than 20 dealers in many parts of Bangalore I finally bought the satellite DVD but I feel this wait was a blessing in disguise because I did not have a DVD player in my house. I opted for their 9 months Diamond package which cost me Rs 1600 (including installation charges Rs 300).
Overall I feel it’s a good deal for the price we are paying for the package and hope that Videocon does not change of the package price too much. The features provided in the remote are very user friendly and innovative like the favorites list and mosaic feature.
Even though it’s not perfect yet I feel that this D2H service can only get better with time.
