I have been using Videocon d2h since 2010. My customer ID is 25749976. I have been using Ala Carte pack for my set top box.
Starting with the picture and sound quality, it can be called to be okay until the whether is clear. But, when it's cloudy or raining, the connection usually gets interrupted.
The main problem with it is the poor customer support. I have often faced problems with it. When you are in need of adding or removing a channel from the pack, it usually takes a very long time. They would rather insist you to wait for a day or two rather than solving the problem.
I won't recommend buying it.
