If portability is the concern why you are buying a speaker, then this is the speaker for you. More than a year ago, bluetooth speakers were not in vogue, nor were they cheap. I had to settle for these.
The Creative SBS A35 is a 2.0 stereo system. Bass is supposed to be built in, but honestly, you will feel that its not there at all. At low volumes, music output is decent. At higher volume, music quality distorts badly. This is a speaker strictly for mobile phones and mp3 players. I thought I could replace it for use with my desktop computer.
I am not going for the technical details since one can find that easily on Creative website.
Price: Around 600-700
Status: Still working, but I have replaced it with a Bose SoundDock XT
