I had invested in couple of MF schemes, served by CAMS and I would say they are the worst RTA in the business. So don't hope for any service from them, as long as you are invested in the schemes for whom they are the RTA.
When you send a complaint or query they will take years to respond to them, by that time, you would have resolved the issue by yourselves.
They are just taking the MF industry for a ride by giving the worst customer care service.
