I bought a desktop computer from Compuciti, MG Road, Camp, Pune after due diligence and on the recommendation of my brother. The price was about Rs. 27, 000 for a relatively high-end product.
However, the computer crashed repeatedly, which was really frustrating, even after installing Quick Heal anti-virus software. However the after-sales service of Compuciti was quite good. They rebooted the computer and installed all the software four times without any extra charge. They even changed the hard drive.
I have to admit I was quite frustrated and wished I had bought a branded computer. However, the Compuciti management assured me that this was very unusual and they were right. After changing the hard drive, the computer hasn't crashed again and I have had absolutely no problem since the past six months.
However, next time I may buy a branded desktop computer or maybe a laptop from Compuciti.What's your advice?Have any of you had similar problems with branded desktop computers?
