I tried the one-on-one counseling service of collegedekho, and it was a complete waste of time. The counsellors helped me shortlist the best degrees relevant to my field, but they do not have an understanding of the current job market and cannot assist in getting placed at the right course. They did not help me identify my strengths and interests, and guided me towards colleges that were a good fit according to the colleges they favored. There was no regard for my academic and career goals.
The one-on-one sessions were useless, and I felt more confused in my choices after speaking with them. There is no ongoing support that ensures that I remain connected even after my degree is finished. It looked like a one-time thing with no commitments. Very disappointed.
