CNBC-good except for anchors. Review on CNBC TV 18

This is my third review so have to yet get the hang of it and try not to be too cynical about everything under the sun. Have read the few review written about CNBC. For someone who is a complete zero in finance and who didn't have the word mid-caps large-caps and all other such sundry words in my vocab CNBC has really helped. I actually watch quite a lot of it everyday not that it really helps me profit from it as their byline goes but it is quite informative.

For folks who want to really enter the stock markets and know very little of it this is a great channel. Udayan Mukherjee is sauve,and so is Senthil they are extremely competent in the sense they know the stuff they r talking about so you can be sure you are getting good advice. Should you take it? I don't know but take their advice on what not to go into and what to go into make an informed decision from some other sources.

I have only one major grouse now they have recruited a lot of young women who may be knowledgeable and good-looking but singularly lack the voice for broadcasting their voices are too soft and shrilly so you tend to have to really strain to hear what they want to say. One thumb rule for broadcasting get somebody with a loud clear voice and diction or nobody will see the programme. NDTV suffers from the same malaise. Barkha has a powerful voice so she is going great guns. I would love to hear your views on this do you agree with me.

They have added a few extra programmes like cars and health etc they maybe necessary for lack of better ideas but their consumer greivances programme called uncovered is really good and they are helping viewers on matters like insurance frauds etc.

All in all right now they are really the best channel for business except for the aforementioned shrilly anchors.
